WSAF 2026

Warwick Student Arts Festival (WSAF) is a four-day showcase and celebration of all aspects of the arts at Warwick on Fri 12th - Mon 15th June 2026. Find out more about WSAF at wsaf.org.uk and about volunteering as crew at wsaf.org.uk/crew.

Every day will feature a morning-to-evening programme of events including theatre, dance, music, film, literature, comedy and art held across multiple venues around campus.

Of course, keeping a four-day event across campus running isn't easy, and so we're looking for you! Whether you'd like to steward a show, man the info booth on the Piazza or help out in the logistics, we'd be incredibly thankful for your help. So thankful in fact, that we'll give you a special WSAF T-Shirt for completing a helper shift. T-Shirts will be Gildan sizing. You can find out more about helping out as crew here.

We'd also recommend that everyone in crew joins the Discord Server, which is the primary communication channel for WSAF. When you join, please let us know your name and that you'd like to help out as crew so we can give the relevant roles!

Roles avaliable are:

Bar Staff

Tech

Stewards

Photography

Looking for roles such as First Aid and can't see them here? These are only accessible via a private link - please contact us on Discord or info@wsaf.org.uk if you'd like to help out. Alternatively, if you have any interest in working with the stream team (on our very own livestream), please go here.

Live streaming

Help us stream performances from multiple different venues at once, as well as running a live stream studio with an accompanying programme by RAW.

Every role has the structure:   "Location [Role]"

The location is where you should go at the start of your shift.

There are 3 types of roles:

  • Stream Operator You are in charge of the stream from your location. This involves communicating with the HQ before the start and preparing any graphics that are needed. During the performance, you will be switching between the cameras (Vision Mixing) with some camera operating. (Ideally you should have done a Camera Operator role in the past - either earlier in the schedule or at another WSAF/WTV event)

  • Camera Operator You will be on location, working with the stream operator to setup/setdown the stream. During the performance, your job will be pointing the camera at whatever's happening (and doing vision mixing if you want). This is a low-stakes job with no experience required!

  • HQ Overall manager of the streams. Switch between different sources, oversee any additional content and solve any technical issues which arise. In quieter times, feel free to ‘float’ around the venues

The full streaming schedule can be found here

⚠️ Important Note ⚠️

Our priority is having stream operators at every site over having camera operators. Therefore, if you are the first person to sign up to a [Stream + Camera Op] role, please be prepared to be a Stream Operator. If you only want to do Camera Operating, only sign up to roles with 1 person already signed up (i.e: 1/2).

⬆️ ️Please read before signing up ⬆️

If you have not worked with the Stream Team before, please only sign up to be the 2nd person on a 2 person shift
